FREE Lung Cancer Screening – November 13, 2021

FREE Lung Cancer Screening – November 13, 2021

Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer deaths in the U.S., but detecting lung cancer early when it is most treatable saves lives.

  • Are you between 50 and 80 years of age?
  • Are you a current smoker or quit within 15 years?

You may be eligible for a Low Dose CT Scan.  A Low Dose CT scan is a screening test in which patients lie on a table for several minutes while an X-ray machine uses a low amount of radiation to take detailed images of their lungs.  This test enables doctors to find lung cancer earlier.

A FREE lung cancer screening event is taking place in Somers Point, NJ on Saturday, November 13, 2021.  Patients can register for a consult with Pulmonologist Dr. Sallustio Del Re of Penn Pulmonary Medicine to find out if they are eligible for lung cancer screening and receive a script for a screening.  Patients will be scheduled with an appointment with Advanced Shore Imaging if they meet criteria for the screening before they leave.

Participants must register.  Please call 609-653-3923 to schedule your consultation appointment or for more information.

Partners include:  Shore Medical Center, ScreenNJ, Advance Shore Imaging, Penn Pulmonary
