Cape Atlantic Coalition for Health (CACH) is located along the southern New Jersey coastline in Cape May and Atlantic Counties. Often not thought of when thinking of outdoor summer workers, are the younger teens who are in the sun all day as beach taggers. In partnership with the Beach Patrol Units within these counties, CACH was able to visit and provided 370 local teens with a small bag filled with a tube of sunscreen with the exact amount needed for one application, a face sunscreen stick, and a information card on types of UV protection, as well sunscreen types and the proper amount to use. A QR on the back of the information card took participants to a link to a survey on UV knowledge.

Results of the survey marked an increase of knowledge of sunscreen use and how often they will use it compared to prior of this program.
