Survivorship… Upcoming Workshops

Survivorship… Upcoming Workshops

Cancer Thriving and Surviving Workshop Series

Do you have cancer?  Are a cancer survivor?  Are you a caregiver to a cancer patient or cancer survivor?  Spouse of a cancer patient or cancer survivor?  Then this workshop series is for you.

Cancer Thriving and Surviving is a workshop series that focuses on the management of many topics that people go through in regards to cancer and after cancer.  This virtual workshop will take place once a week for six weeks.  It may seem like a lot of time to designate to an activity, but remember you are dedicating this time to yourself and your well-being… isn’t that worth it?  After teaching multiple workshop series we have found that everyone gets something from the courses; participants feel less alone in their experiences; the time flies by; and many times participants are sorry to see the workshops end.

Below are some examples of topics covered:

  • Fatigue Management
  • Exercise and Fitness
  • Managing Pain
  • Healthy Sleep
  • Living with Uncertainty
  • Problem Solving
  • Communication
  • Difficult Emotions
  • … and More

This workshop series begins February 18, 2021 through March 25, 2021 from 6-8pm.  We will meet once a week on Thursdays.
