The UV Index and Your Skin

The UV Index and Your Skin

Understanding the UV Index is an important part of practicing everyday sun safety. The UV Index helps you gauge how strong the sun’s ultraviolet rays are at any given time. By recognizing the level of UV exposure risk and taking the right protective steps such as applying broad‑spectrum sunscreen, wearing protective clothing, and seeking shade you can significantly reduce your chances of developing skin cancer. Building these habits into your routine is a simple but powerful way to protect your long‑term skin health.
